What is the purpose of the camp boards rules
about body-piercings and tattoos?
Because these standards are new this year (2005), a
explanation is offered so everyone will understand the boards purpose, and so that
all will understand these purposes alike.
- YBC Mission---To provide a place for the enhancement and development of
stronger faith in our Lord.
- Body-piercings and offensive tattoos --- Depending upon their nature,
the displaying of body-piercings and tattoos can be a distraction and provide a negative
dynamic for the spiritual edification of campers, thus violating the camp's intended
purpose of spiritual enhancement and growth."
