Yellowstone Bible Camp

Wedding Policy

December 20, 2006

The Board of Directors for Yellowstone Bible Camp understands that there are many who would like to hold their weddings at the camp. In order to facilitiate these desires the Board has set the following criteria for use of the camp for weddings. Couples wishing to use the facilities at Yellowstone Bible Camp for their wedding will be charged according to the following fee schedule:

  • A flat fee of $500 will be assessed for use of the camp including Chapel, Lodge, and grounds. A $150 deposit is required to hold the dates and the facility is to be paid not less than thirty days in advance.

  • The wedding party is responsible for their own clean-up. A refundable cleaning deposit of $200 dollars is required in addition to the $500 flat fee.

  • Use of any of the cabins for dressing and other preparation is included in the cost, but such use is subject to availability. Regularly scheduled camps have priority.

  • An additional $200 will be assessed for use of the kitchen and dining area.

  • Wedding guests wishing to stay overnight at the camp will be assessed the regular per night fee and housing is subject to availability.

  • Wedding guests partaking of regular meals at the camp will also be subject to regular per meal fees. Wedding parties will need to work with the Camp Director to provide numbers of those expecting housing and/or meals well in advance of wedding dates.

  • Wedding guests staying at camp and taking their meals in the dining hall are expected to participate in regular meal clean-up.

  • Wedding parties are reminded not to use confetti or rice during their celebrations.

Funeral Policy

The Board of Directors for Yellowstone Bible Camp has become aware that a number of families with close ties to the camp have chosen to sprinkle the ashes of deceased loved ones on the camp property. In addition, memorial plaques honoring these loved ones have been attached to several large boulders on the hillside above the softball field.

While the Board understands the desires of those who want to honor their deceased loved ones in some way at Yellowstone Bible Campe, it also believes that some measures must be taken in order to control the numbers of such memorials and their placement. So, families wishing to sprinkle the ashes of loved ones on the camp's property and/or to create some type of memorial honoring deceased loved one at the camp will be asked, beginning January 1, 2007 to contact the Board prior to such actions for approval.
